theflex.. is the industry browser specially designed for application scenarios in logistics, field service and production. theflex. is ideally designed for the use of
handhelds and tablets in combination with SAP web applications such as SAP Fiori, SAP EWM RFUI Apps and ITSmobile. Numerous functions are available to optimize your
(intra-)logistical processes along the complete supply chain with theflex.:
• Standardized interfaces to device functions:
theflex. supports printer, camera, microphone and barcode scanning. Automatic keyboard and cursor control as well as vibration and read aloud functions are also part of the
spectrum.
• Fixed URLS:
Define fixed URLs once during installation of the app. When the app is launched, the relevant URLs are loaded automatically.
• Admin password:
Secure the browser settings from unauthorized access.
• Easy distribution of settings:
All app settings can be easily transferred to other devices via file or QR code.
• Multiple access options:
Choose between an app code, fingerprint or Face ID authentication, and NFC login.
• Advanced screen features:
Use your full screen by hiding the status bar and navigation bar. In addition, theflex. can be used to configure the zoom of the display.
• Plugin for wearables:
Wearables from the manufacturers NIMMSTA and ProGlove can be integrated quickly and easily and you benefit from the advantages of hands-free scanning.
• Analysis and optimization through significant logging:
Advanced logging and a network analysis tool are integrated and help with error analysis.
• Network analysis for improved connections:
The network (time, duration, SSID, BSSID, position, URL, error messages) is automatically monitored during operation. With the scanning of storage locations or machines, the
current position is also determined and stored directly in SAP. In combination with the logging function, you can read out this data at any time or visualize it in the
dashboard.
